All candidates applying for permanent positions go through ALOS Basic Assessment formulated according to the position they apply for. In terms of our permanent recruitment ALOS offers a three month guarantee on every permanent placement. Our consultants stay in touch with both the client and the candidate during this period. By doing this we ensure that both parties are satisfied during this period and that should there be any concerns we assist in sorting out these concerns in a professional and speedy method. In addition to this to ensure that we consistently meet our high operating standards we have an internal quality control audit system which our managers inspect on an ongoing basis to ensure that our paper trail meets the high standards set by ALOS. 2. Outsourced Candidates ALOS fulfils the specific labour requirements of our clients by placing suitable qualified contract and temporary employees on a site for the duration of a contract. We supply short and long term contractual staff in all industries. We work with clients to determine peak staffing trends and predict increased needs for staff in order to effectively match industry and workforce with workload. This is especially beneficial to employers that require additional staff for unspecified periods of short term projects. We provide a Site Clerk to assist the Human Resource Manager with meetings, time-sheets, queries and record keeping of employees, where there are more than 50 employees’ onsite. Issues such as unexpected absenteeism are solved with a single call to our dedicated onsite agents and assessable managers. As a further service to our clients we take away the burden and provide (as negotiated) the following: - PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) - Medicals Examinations - Inductions - Transport to various sites - Arrange accommodation - Working permits (for the African Countries) - Training to employees where necessary We operate in the jurisdiction of the necessary bargaining councils and Basic Conditions of Employment Act and we are registered with the relevant statutory bodies. 3. Full Payroll Function ALOS offers a complete, professional and personalised payroll service. Our qualified payroll staff is detail orientated and deadline driven, offering you accurate and diligent service throughout. We constantly strive to be the best in the payroll service industry by listening to all of our clients' concerns, addressing their needs, and continuously improve on all our payroll services. At ALOS we are committed in paying all statutory requirements as prescribed by Law. This includes: - Unemployment Insurance (UIF) - Receiver of Revenue for VAT - Workmen's Compensation (WCA) - PAYE - Skills We have established our own Provident Fund for the benefit of our employees. Our highly qualified Payroll division takes care of the following: - Payroll and Financial Year End - IRP 5's - Leave administration - Assist employees to open bank accounts - Handle WCA matters We are registered with the following Institutions: - Motor Industry (Micro) - Leather Bargaining Council - Textile Bargaining Council - Petrol and Chemical Bargaining Council - Constructional Engineering Association of South Africa - Industrial Council (Seifsa) - Services Seta Being registered at the various institutions and complying with their specific requirements, promotes fair practice and protection of the workers. Al our site employees work off time-sheets or clocking systems therefore ensuring that each client is only charged for the number of attendees and for the hours worked. After every payroll a detailed breakdown of the invoice for all the hours worked is send to our clients. We insure that every employee of ALOS receive their payslip on time. So taking all of the above mentioned into consideration, ALOS has one focus point and that is to extend the best and most professional service to each and every client and candidate. Departmental Outsourcing There comes a time when SME's and even larger organisations need expert assistance in certain departments, whether full time or part time. ALOS' services was designed with the view to fill the gap that organisations have in regards with departmental functions. Utilising ALOS' services give the organisation time to focus on its strong point while filling the weak gaps with strong departmental outsourcing. Currently ALOS can implement and maintain a fully fledged Human Resource department in a business, including payroll administration and recruitment. This is a great option for medium to large sized organisations. This option can be taken on a temporary basis as well as for those extra projects that needs to be taken on. 5.
