About the Company

In 1950, Clarence Richard Henriksen, Sr., the son of Scandinavian immigrants, graduated from law school at the University of Utah and began practicing. In 1964, he bought a small building at 320 South 500 East. In this building, he started a legacy that would continue to influence all who associated with him. Richard Sr. went on to have a distinguished career. As an experienced trial lawyer, he was the original founder of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association (now known as Utah Association for Justice). For twenty-five years he was also a member of the governing board of the American Association for Justice (formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America - the largest organization of trial lawyers in the United States).
